This project involves the implementation of a BODOR P6 12 kW fiber laser sheet cutting machine for a manufacturing client in Estonia. The P6 12 kW is engineered for high-precision and high-efficiency sheet metal processing, delivering exceptional performance on both thick and thin materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The BODOR P6 12 kW features a working area of 6100 × 2550 mm, allowing the processing of large-format metal sheets. With a maximum acceleration of 2.0G and rapid non-cutting travel speeds of up to 170 m/min, the machine ensures short cycle times and optimized workflow. Its 12 kW laser power provides fast penetration and stable cutting even on demanding materials and higher thickness ranges. The system includes advanced intelligent functions such as one-second edge finding, visual collision avoidance, active obstacle detection, and an automatic nozzle changer. These technologies reduce downtime, streamline setup, and increase processing reliability. Positioning accuracy of ±0.03 mm/m ensures consistent high-quality results for industrial applications requiring maximum precision.
