Collimator lenses are components of a collimator unit, a special optical system that includes two or more lenses of various shapes. They are located in the cooling case at a certain distance from each other. The collimator unit itself is located in front of the laser cutting head. Designed to reduce the divergence of the laser beam and is responsible for the speed of beam expansion in the cutting (welding) zone.
